jperkin, any info about if / when php56-pear might be fixed? I know, I know, ancient version. I swear we're trying to replace those apps in spite of the tyranny of the now and the budget.

If I'm going to modernize, it'd be nice to go to current latest in one jump. But I'm having frustrating issues with php-related stuff being missing in newer versions. E.g. the php recode module doesn't exist in 8.4, and isn't in the bulk build errors list.

pjustice: yeh the pear stuff is nasty, I have prodded folks as it's not specific to illumos but I feel I'm going to have to dig into it (and my brief look into it wasn't pretty)
