I'm sorry guys, but my OmniOS server crashed again after a a couple of weeks of uptime... it's a recurring problem since I configured ipfilter on it. The issue is documented here:

Since I have zero competence to deep dive into this problem (go figure about to solve it!) ... maybe someone can help me to understand how much development effort might be needed to fix it? Maybe I can sponsor that work (sorry not to be able to contribute in a better way!)

as a workaround, I was thinking to use another firewall instead of ipfilter, but I have no idea which one... pf has not been ported to illumos, right?
