Guest41I just had occasion to run pkg update on an ipkg zone running postgresql-17.2 and it updated that package but remained at 17.2. Hmm. I mounted an earlier BE and there was a different file size for both postgres and init between the two BEs. Pg website mentions earlier update from 17.1 to 17.2 that included security things but no 17.3 like I

Guest41A note to say everything now looks as it should, comparing between several BEs, and BEs in another zone. My take is that when I did the first ls -l the system was still writing the new files to disk since suspect file size was smaller, not bigger. Don't understand why pkg elected to re-install a current package.
