vetalrmustacc: Could you help to find where tcp packet is dropped? So traffic is going from LX zone to global zone. It seems that vioif has LSO, so snoops shows Len=4344 of TCP packet.
-
vetalrmustacc: I think it is bigger that MTU and therefore this TCP packet is dropped. netstat -s doesn't show anything related to drops.
-
vetalrmustacc: If traffic is from LX zone to outside - it is fine. If traffic is from LX zone (I suspeect from brand zone also) to global or another zone, TCP traffic is freezed.
-
vetalrmustacc: It would be useful to disable LSO/TSO on vioif (like in FreeBSD or Linux), but I didn't find how to do that.
-
rmustaccCan you describe more about what the network set up is?
-
rmustaccWhat do you mean by going from lx to gz? Do you have an etherstub that things are over, vnics, etc.?
-
rmustaccWhile there are some things that could be improved about disabling tso, I'm not sure what it being on vioif has to do with other things here, but things are fairly unclear to me right now.
-
rmustaccSo I think understanding what the exact network topology is inside the box will help.
-
rmustaccI'm guessing that this is in here because there's something to omnios going on? Probably will help folks to know what release you're on.
