hm, omnios does not package authinfo.m4 with sendmail...

We still ship sendmail from gate. At some point we should switch to shipping our own packaged version

someone(tm) should update the in-gate sendmail :)

it has always been missing. I had to add it even back at the end of the 90's :D

And if OmniOS migrates to upstream sendmail, should we drop the gate version (OI and Tribblix already ship vanilla sendmail)

Or integrate dma to gate, so we still have something. I forget the POSIX angle.
