Hi

is there any books written on OmniOS? or I should look around Solaris books and gain knowledge from there?  Anyone has any recommendation regarding that (( apart from the documentation on the website and the man pages inside OmniOS))

this feels like such a dumb question, but is there a way to change the resolution and/or text size on the virtual system console?

i asked exactly that one or two fridays ago :-) check /boot/defaults/loader.conf for boot_resolution and similar and tweak these in your real loader.conf

i didn't make 1366x768 work, though. (it's not a standard VESA/VBE size.)

hrm... interesting.. I did some messing with those and it clearly affected loader, but it didn't once the OS was up. I'll give it another pass though.
