jbk: today I learned it's not in the smbios even though I thought it was

though the guest agent does seem to have CONFIG_SOLARIS tweaks in it, so maybe it works?

jbk: I think you should be looking at QMP/QGA, but I also seem to recall there was a blob of info qemu exposed as something or other elsewhere too

but I can't find it
