darwinjust booted Tribblix USB for new PC. The format command says no disks found. I've installed windows (to turn off LEDs and warm boot), FreeBSD UNIX, Slackware & Devuan GNU/Linuxes, and had almost finished installing Gentoo GNU/Linux. NetBSD UNIX, Artix GNU/Linux didn't detect disks... well, their USB didn't even boot on this PC (but on a laptop) so this may not only be a Tribblix issue. Any suggestions or should I just try OmniOS CE next?

rmustaccHow are your disks connected?
-
darwinM.2/NVMe
-
darwindefinitely are there and one I'm installing to is new
-
rmustaccDid you check nvmeadm list/
-
darwini will now
-
rmustaccBasically what I'd start with is understanding did we detect a PCIe device and/or attach a driver.
-
rmustaccThen we can see why or why not a block device is missing.
-
rmustaccI'm going to have to step out, but I don't know that I'd expect much difference betweeen Tribblix or OmniOS unless the install media is a dramatically different age.

darwini forgot to 'su - root'. OS I usually install with let you immediately login as root with no password, and I wasn't used to this

darwini already made Solaris partitions (also for OmniOS CE) using aforementioned. The device names look very much longer than in the instructions
