I spent too long tracking it down, but at least now there's more data in the ticket

ahh looks like they pasted to illumos-discuss... it sounds like maybe an issue with the boot mappings

i also came up with something to fix prtconf... basically it's just trying to interpret the 'ranges' and 'reg' properties

though still not sure on the formatting and a few other assumptions
