tomreynsome bios updates can just be installed by placing them in a certain directory structure on a fat32 file system, sometimes including ESP.

gemelenit seems that there is still no good solution for a case of: a zfs native encrypted homedir, mountable on ssh login with a key? with pam it's possible to do that for a local login or a for ssh with password, but not for the pubkey method
