hello all, I had a computer run SmartOS, when I restarted the OS, the booting progress is broken and report “Console login service cannot run”, and had warning message: /libsvc/method/fs-joyent failed,

and the prompt is: Enter user name for system maintenance (control-d to bypass)

I have tried press ctrl-d, or input root with the default password, it does work

what should to do for next step, anyone could point me? thanks in advance

svcs -vx, check system and services logs. fs-* failures in zfs land are often about mountpoint having some leftover files for example.

tsoome: thank you very much, the issue is I can’t login, so I reboot the system and press 4, then select 5 to boot system without import zones zpool, and enter system as root, then force to import the zones, then run scrub for the zones, I’m waiting the task done , plan to reboot it
