Ok, I'm stuck. I am trying to build a guest based on:

c38b1b62-6d89-41f1-bd1d-5342b2d783d7 alpine-3.21.3 20250407 linux lx-dataset 2025-04-07

When it boots, almost no services start.

I can't find any useful log traces in guest:/var/log or gz:<zoneid>/logs

It seems stuck in the sysinit runlevel

rc-status says several things want non-existent service sysfs, and gendepends emits a syntax error on line 4.

The guest booted once, and automation was able to install various packages using apk. Given the lack of logs, I'm having trouble telling whether the first boot (somewehat magic due to that service) works but later boots don't, or if something I'm doing is breaking things.

/etc/init.d/sysfs also has a syntax error. And it gets replaced every boot.

ooooohhhh, I see. util-linux breaks boot on this lx image.
