tozhu: in case you read the log (and to whom it concerns): the note about dbuf_cache_max_bytes is wrong, the relative sizes are calculated not against the size of RAM, but the size of ARC, and is therefore depending on the setup of maximum arc.

and you should not just blindly whatever the settings are somewhere in internet, those are hopefully worked out for specific conditions (unless they are blindly copied from somewhere else:P).
