where data is zpool itself with compression off, was striped pool with 12 devices

or would it be easier for you if just provided you with either a lmrc module or a complete platform image?

Woodstock: I needed to pack the server to sent back to vendor, but I wired the two new ones (same model) in the DC and have a week to test them

(@jvl --> if you're using piadm(8), you CAN install the less-bytes-to-download .tgz Platform Image. As long as you're not testing *loader* bits this is perfectly safe, esp. for bugfix attempts like the one Woodstock is providing.)
