  So basically I am wrong that external interface should be used for anything but VM vnics and I shouldn't even set it to have IP address (if I don't want random MAC DHCP for headnode IP on external)

  But I wonder why I can't set default gateway on admin network , setting it up in /usbkey/config ? If gateway is different then one got from DHCP server on admin network.
