jperkin: FYI: updated a few php80 boxes today (trunk, openssl 1.1 to 3.1) and all ini-files in /opt/local/etc/php.d were cleared out. So no extensions were loaded. A pkgin rm and pkgin in of the packages did not solved the issue.

jfqd1: mkvtoolnix is blocking the publishing of trunk at the moment due to a qt6 dependency that I need to solve

jperkin: I may found a serious issue with dovecot:

WARNING: if you use dovecot with trunk images - do not upgrade to the latest changes with openssl 3.1.

We have serious issues - including lost mails! This might not apply to everbody, but I think better to be save than sorry!

Postfix is moving the incomming mails to the new folder and when the mail-programm try to fetch them they get not copied to the cur folder. Instead they vanish.

Not clear if it is the latest dovecot version or a bug in the illumos build?

it would appear that openssh has disappeared from pkgsrc trunk. i searched on the mailing list, but saw no mention. did i miss something?

Bulk build report for 11/4 says it failed to build, indirect, because of libfido.

jfqd1: erk that's not good, can you get some more diagnosis on exactly what's happening? I guess this might be more likely to be related to the recent-ish 2.3.21 update rather than openssl, as I'd be surprised if SSL was involved in that part of the code

jperkin: sorry for the fuss, I found the issue. Dovecot is working as expected.

There was a rule in the mail app on an old macbook which normally no one uses any more in that company. But today, cause the newer macbook broke on friday and so today was the day of the old macbook.

This is the reason why I never use any rules in mail apps.
