  Why on Smartos physical console, when I use vim to edit config, functions of Backspace serves as Del key and Del key serves as backspace ? ?

  Also seems that physical console does not even opens when I use DP to HDMI and on it, HDMI to VGA adaptor . Last output on screen stays with loader output.

  If I put DP dummy dongle in machine on boot and after few seconds plug it out and plug DP/HDMI+HDMI/VGA convertors in, I get the physical console.

  In a lx-brand zone, is there a way to make LX_DEBUG work in a systemd unit file? I can't get it to output lx_debug probes by just adding Environment="LX_DEBUG=1" to the systemd service file.

  I am re-adding second NIC to SmartOS install and wnated to use second NIC for admin, local traffic and use old NIC as external. And now I see external NIC is always Vnic.

  When I select fixed IP for External Vnic in /usbkey/config, I don't get interface up in global zone.

  Plus, can I use External IP for default update connections for Global zone, since the internet connection is faster there ?

  I expected that also SmartOS recommends 2 NICs, exactly to distinguish between Publick IP for VMs and services and Admin IP for accessing to the SmartOS for settings etc.
