  you can build your own package, curl 8.4.0 has been committed into pkgsrc on 20231011

  there has been some python fallout related to 3.12 that has stopped the last couple of pushes, hopefully the next one should be good

  jfqd1: Also curl 8.4 is in the platform as of last week. (Though we don't officially support libcurl linking in the platform, just the command.)

  Gotcha. We were behind on curl (because for platform when you update one component, sometimes you have to pull in a BUNCH of other stuff, lucky us it wasn't so bad here).
