question about external network tag: I have a machine, the external tag on 10G card(interface name is i40e), now added a 40G card ( named ixgbe0) ; is there any procedure to change the tag from i40e to ixgbe0? hope do not change VM’s settings (all VM nic is running external tag )

tozhu i40e is 40G, ixgbe is only ever 10G.

It *sounds* like you replaced a 10G ixgbe with a 40G i40e, and you want your VM nics' `external` tags to move over.

Am I right?

If this is standalone smartos /usbkey/config should be examined; that might help you.

Hello, I've been trying to install NixOS on a bhyve VM using the ISO. I was following this(gist.github.com/TyrfingMjolnir/8d6da3e5ef5d3167fefa673039552f83) and had success in the past, but now whenever I start the VM the host just freezes, loses connection and I don't know what is causing the issue. Does anyone know what might be causing

the issue or can point me to where I can debug this? I'm at a loss here.
