Does chrony not run in LX branded zones ? Fatal error : adjtimex(0x8001) failed : Function not implemented

Smithx10: chrony is expecting to tune the host clock, which is not something one would generally allow a zone to do

Gotcha, so as long as the GZ is syncing time correctly

The issue I was hitting wasn't time :( was giving the wrong token.... /doh

yeah, zones use the host clock (presumably kept in sync via NTP in the GZ)

adjtimex was never really implemented in LX: github.com/omniosorg/illumos-omnios…x/lx_brand/common/clock.c#L122-L127

Gotta rethink my next server. I was going to go for Ryzen 5800X3D, but I guess if I want PCI pasthrough I should consider an Intel build...

or maybe incentive for a new project :)
