  Smithx10: it mostly works on plain smartos, things are a lot tricker in triton though as I can't just get an arbitrary dhcp lease, so I need to figure out a plan for that

  the only bit that wasn't working for me on smartos was the ansible provisioning, not sure where the problem for that lies yet and it's not a fast turnaround to test..

  So in a SmartOS image zone that can run bhyve in the zone it should pretty much work except for ansible ?

  I didn't get it working in a zone yet but it works in the gz

  it should work in a zone as long as you plumb everything up, and have a dhcp server available for it
