It;s a bit off a mess :p

It a bit of a long history but: hard to reproduce, suggested to add a tunable, one sort of existed, I tried to document it, more disucssion, we should change the default until fix.

So the existing manpage pr didn't get merged as it should be rewriten to state the inverse and erm before that there needs to be a CR to flip the default.

The later is a bit outside my comfort zone/free time to sit down and spend a day or two staring at the code range atm.

But the issue I linked has the exact var to set in /etc/system

hello! yesterday I asked about some issues I had regarding disk size and utilized space and someone mentioned that it might be the volblocksize parameter used. is there an easy way to do this without the need to shutdown the running VMs? I assume it'll have some impact on the performance, but still I don't want to bring them down.

@Smithx10 I think arekinath can explain the subtleties better, might have to do with viona having fewer worker threads, but on inbound the interrupt load is spread nicely, and if you get nice hashing (addr,addr,port,port) it spreads equally across more CPUs.

And the subtleties I mention are on the xmit side. Receive-side spreading like that is well-understood.

And don't forget, you're running ConnectX-6 where most of mlxcx was brought up on -4 and -5 only.

Hello! I'm trying to setup a Debian VM with IPv6, but I can't seem to configure a default IPv6 gateway from the zone config file. I'm getting "Static gateways must be IPv4 addresses", is there really no way to get this to work?

I've always let router advertisements take care of that
