  Hi, I saw that it's recommended to use images.smartos.org now instead of images.joyent.com (smartdatacenter.topicbox.com/groups…martos-release-20220602-slick-henry). Is there a way to make the switch before upgrading to a more recent PI?

  I see that the new LX images recently published (smartdatacenter.topicbox.com/groups…e048bf3b0a7/new-lx-images-published) are still accessible via images.joyent.com but curious if I can make the switch now without a PI upgrade

  blackwood821: images.joyent.com is a cname to images.smartos.org, but most older PIs will have a broken trust anchor that makes images.joyent.com not work unless you switch to no ssl.

  And updating the PI will automatically switch to the new name.

  There's actually a very small window of PIs where the name images.joyent.com still works and does not throw a certificate error.

  Didn't encounter any certificate errors when I just imported the CentOS Stream 9 LX image
