Smithx10I've got a freshly booted CNs to add, but they aren't in the "running" state but in unknown.
-
Smithx10I can ping their IP tho.
-
Smithx10"3c-ec-ef-d8-17-ca 00000000-0000-0000-0000-3cecefd8baa0 7.0 false unknown 1048439 10.80.2.178"
-
bahamatIf they're unknown then ur isn't heartbeating
-
Smithx10hmmm ur was in maintenance, it was ok earlier when it booted... I let them sit for awhile.... i dont see any errors from tail `svcs -L agent/ur`
-
Smithx10ahh, think the logs filled up the disk space
-
danmcdUggh disk space.
-
pmooneywas there some flag day I missed when it comes to the GZ tools (curl, wget, etc) having a usable certificate store?
-
pmooney(PI on this instance is pretty updated)
-
danmcdI don't think so? I just did `curl kebe.com` on my freshly-installed gcc10.4 test VM, and it was okay.
-
danmcdAre you trying to grab stuff from joyent.com still? Or is this something else?
-
danmcdOh shit, pardon latency, it's 6pmET, aka dinnertime here. Sorry for response-and-run. I *will* be back after dinner though.
-
pmooneydanmcd: literally anything, including google
-
chewyrob_Hey everyone! We're having Triton DataCenter Office Hours part 2 happening this Thursday at 11PT/2ET same discord channel. Please join in the fun!
-
bahamatpmooney: The PI itself has never had a certificate store for curl/wget.
-
pmooneyISTR being able to curl down new PI images at one point, but maybe I'm mis-remembering?
-
bahamatnode does have one that's pretty much only used for imgadm. But if you install pkgsrc-tools, then curl is configured to use it by default.
-
bahamat"it" being the mozilla-rootcerts package that comes with pkgsrc-tools for the gz.
-
pmooneyaye, I haven't installed any of the pkgsrc stuff in the gz
-
bahamatIf you're on a new enough PI you can use /smartdc/bin/pkgsrc-setup to install it.
-
Smithx10What usually keeps dladm add-aggr -l $intrfaces $aggr from completing :(
-
bahamatMaybe not able to communicate via the door?
