We let people choose whether they want to use the original illumos `file` or the new darwinsys one, and that's selected via a mediator.

The problem is that `zadm` has a couple of hard coded string patterns it expects from `file`

omniosorg/zadm cdbed9a already relaxed one for zfs snapshot streams, but we need to do something similar for xz
