Hi. I have booted a previous snapshot and created a zone. Now after booting the proper latest BE the zone have been disapeard.

But not completely. I just booted a zone with zadm, and got this output:

zoneadm: syncthing: could not get brand name: Wrong document type

It seems the zone is still mentioned in /etc/zones/index

syncthing:incomplete:/zones/syncthing:009405f7-fbd6-4257-94da-9454bb89a74e

I have attempted to delete that line, but the header says:

# DO NOT EDIT: this file is automatically generated by zoneadm(8)

# and zonecfg(8). Any manual changes will be lost.

Now my question: how do I delete the line?

Presumably, /etc/zones/syncthing.xml doesn't exist?

Which is presumably the cause of the error, but I wonder what's populated /etc/zones/index

The advantage of text configuration files is that you can go in with $EDITOR and fix errors.

But there's no saying the errant line won't reappear

I fear I have already tried that and the entry re-appeared.
