I've got a brand new Beelink EQR6 (Ryzen 9 6900HX) and the latest LTS release of omnios. Via USB or CD, the same thing happens. the menu screen comes up. when selecting option (e.g. single user boot), there's 2-3 lines of loader information, then the screen goes blank save for a white square in the top left corner. No matter which boot options I configure, the same thing happens.

I've got no idea what I can try next

marino: if the PC has a serial port and the bootloader allows to specify the serial port as the console, you may be able to see some boot messages that precede the freeze

that's what I would attempt on Linux/BSD, anyway

this thing was probably built 3 months and it's like 12 cm2 x 4cm. I'm 99.99999% sure there's no serial port on it. ;)

i can access the prompt and get a menu of commands but I have no idea what to do there.

is there a mail list I should posting to? I'd think omnios not being compatible with the the newest machines and cpus is something that people would want to know about and address.
