neitzelomnios doesn't need no wpa_supplicant(8). In brief terms, all you have to "dladm create-secobj ..." to register your WPA pre-shared key, then you "dladm connect-wifi ..." to your (E)SSID, referring to the secobj. (dladm(8) has explicit examples.) After that, you proceed with ipadm(8) as usual to get/set ipv4/6 addresses.
