hi :) trying to install omnios (current) on a dell poweredge r730xd; the install appeared to complete sucessfully, but when trying to boot into the new install, the bootloader hangs after printing "Loading /boot/defaults/loader.conf"

any ideas? I've already disabled X2APIC, as I remember omnios doesn't play nice with that; I have a hunch there are more firmware settings I need to change, but I'm not sure which

oddline seems 730xd should work

well it booted the installer and appeared to complete the install successfully :)

no, like I said, the bootloader hangs at "Loading /boot/defaults/loader.conf"
