tux0r: For things that are a bit confused about a world outside their favourite platform, you can generally try doing something like "PATH=/usr/gnu/bin:$PATH ...."

/usr/gnu/bin/make is gmake after all

I'm seeing "sudo: unable to commit audit record: Not enough space" on bloody, I don't see what I would not have enough space in, but also I was pretty sure I never configured audit
