neiracjust a heads up, I tried to download latest bloody from the omniosce site and I got a 404
-
andyfAh, thanks - we've been tidying some things up for the upcoming r48 and I forgot to update the link on the web site. Will be fixed in 5 minutes.
-
andyfYou can find the files at downloads.omnios.org/media/bloody in the meantime
-
neiracgreat!, I'm going to resume the work on vmm mdb module if that's still needed
-
andyfOh yes, excellent!
-
andyfI did do a couple of updates to what you had in gerrit because of other changes in bhyve but I didn't then do much with it.

fenix→ CODE REVIEW 2886: 14525 Would like kmdb module for vmm (NEW) | illumos.org/issues/14525
-
andyfbut feel free to take any bits from that back into yours and I can abandon that one.
-
neiracok, I'll take a look. Does bhyve works in an amd A8 cpu? just found one
-
andyfI don't know offhand. The `bhhwcompat` command will tell you if you can omnios installed on it.
-
andyfbhyve's requirements are fairly low, but it does need nested paging and NRIP save support.
-
andyf(on top of SVM, that is)
-
aru_what's the eta for r48?
-
andyfFirst Monday in November, so the 6th.
-
andyfThere will probably be a beta/release candidate a couple of weeks earlier if testing goes well.
-
aru_ah, cool
