hmm. looks like the patch is there, the note just hasn't been updated to reflect it.

There's been a lot(?) of mailing list talk about sealing, but I failed to keep up with it.

perhaps look at the illumos dev list? I believe the subject had "sealing" in it.

richlowe, I updated a test host and verified the fix was there then updated the prod host (yes, reboot prod on a Friday morning. What could possibly go wrong?) and the users are back at work now.

so evidently while I saw the initial issue crop up I never saw any of the followup about it being resolved.

oh, I misunderstood. Sorry, I thought you meant the fix was there but it wasn't working for you.

Oddly, it only impacted users using the CNAME for the file server. Direct access worked.
