tnorlinWhat radical could possibly have changed between r151042 and r151046? I had bhyve guests running BHYVE_CSM that could boot before, but not after. In the /usr/share/bhyve/firmware the files seem to be the same but this happens (on a not uefi VM):

tnorlin!!!! Find PE image /data/omnios-build/omniosorg/r151046/_build/uefi-edk2-20230201/uefi-edk2-il-udk2014.sp1-3/Build/BhyveX64/RELEASE_ILLGCC/X64/UefiCpuPkg/CpuDxe/CpuDxe/DEBUG/CpuDxe.dll (ImageBase=00000000BFAD9000, EntryPoint=00000000BFAD92AF) !!!!

jbronntnorlin: I started using bhyve with r151044 and never successfully booted a BIOS VM. Trying to use the default (CSM) I would see exact same message trying to install OpenBSD VMs using EFI -- I've only had success using `BHYVE_RELEASE` as the bootrom.

Guest36Ok, it works for local links, so if you do ../data or something similar symlinks do work through SMB shares!:) :)
