does omnios really not deliver /etc/pam.d?

I'm absolutely not "installing" omnios with sdiff(1)

Does illumos support /etc/pam.d?

I remember the RFE and an implementation

but I don't remember support, I just noticed I have an /etc/pam.d somehow

It looks like OI delivers something there from cups, but I don't think it does anything

It would be nice to dust that off, there is even a webrev

so I got a boot message from krtld that doesn't seem to otherwise get logged, about unused boot arguments, that look like the physical path to my disk, preceded by 0

I don't think anything I did would have caused that, but maybe that's familiar to someone?

seems the microcode update to cpu0 happens too early to ever get re-pushed through syslog, too

so we're complaining about it right after loader passes it to us, whatever loader is attempting to pass to us
