I'm setting up a new box, with a trunk on a link aggregation. The aggregation and underlying nics have a 9k mtu. When I create a new vnic with the mtu specified it doesn't set it. Am I doing this right?

I have to go back and 'dladm set-linkprop -p mtu=1500 vnic1' for it to take

Is there known issues with encrypted datasets? I had been backing up an encrypted dataset from a linux to a smartos zone, and that zone would allow me to load the key and mount the dataset. That server was retired and I have omnios-r151044-e3132f191c

It gives an I/O error when trying to mount the dataset after loading the key

IIRC linux and illumos are currently not compatible for encrypted datasets
