richlowe: FWIW, gtexinfo is in pkgsrc. Since you just need the docs, you can just fetch the tar and extract it (pkgsrc.smartos.org/packages/SmartOS…/2021Q4/x86_64/All/gtexinfo-6.8.tgz)

I'm not sure if that'll have the docs you need, but it's worth a shot. It'll be easier than trying to build it at least.
