I generally let factories crimp RJ45's; when I need to terminate cables I use keystone jacks and a 110 punch-down tool..

this was for a security camera..

unfortunately, the drop for the 2nd one is somewhere just out of reach in the soffit, so i need to see about getting a cheap endoscopic camera or such to find it and hook it to pull it down

but just crimped the ends so I could connect it to the NVR for now
