I think someone emailed the lists like 5 years ago that none of it worked because it was C++ though

there's a person who emailed a list slightly more recently who implied they were using the open source sam/qfs too

the wayback link though didn't show it..

some has taken and maintained grid engine

I think people actually enjoyed grid engine :)

I don't think I ever met anyone who missed cluster.

ha cluster is something one needs to understand. I certainly would not complain too much about it (surely it had its share of issues during the time)
