send it a command it doesn't support, and instead of returning an error, it just stops working

SoL barely works most of the time

this was in an older intel branded server...

i'm pretty sure they had a stockpile of 8088's in some warehouse and realized 'hey, we can use these for our BMCs'

they are soooo dogshit slow and sluggish

My favorite is when I have to get on a box that someone deployed without the appropriate serial config and the HTML / Java console just spams any letter I press 1 time..... 49 times
