does anyone have a sparc64 illumos machine available that I could test building some kernel fixes on, and/or images? once my own issue is resolved i can continue development on my own hardware.

zv: i suggest you ask on illumos-sparc and coordinate your efforts with klaus ziegler :)

jbk: I as surprised to find we actually _use_ the single '/' asm comment syntax

I bet changing that to '#' and passing -Wa,--divide globally would quietly avoid a lot of surprises for years to come :)
