darwin - do you mean the package repository? You can mirror that to a local file with `pkgrecv`

i mean everything needed to make an .ISO, but as said I'm not actually on any Illumos... I just download and occasionally try them out, so I don't think I have that command

The iso files are only updated occasionally. Usually just when there's some bug fix or improvement in the installer. You can always install from it and `pkg update` to get all the latest bits.
