if we're doing sysroots properly, for other projects, should I upstream `ld -zsysroot` and the nightly machinery so we can use them as reference CBEs too?

(this is the work that makes the mostly-joyent used ADJUNCT_PROTO into a sysroot in the `gcc --sysroot` sense)
