richlowe: not sure it's worth it, the rpi4 and up IIRC have UEFI booting too, 3b+ is getting kind of old but it's basically a spare for my c ustom build ntp server 😅

But there have been some juicy ITX looking armboards as of late that would seem interesting to run illumos on with some zones.

But turns out I can't get them here anyway :(

this Dell server reports the location of it's front bay NVMe SSDs as 'PCIe SSD Slot xx in Bay yy' which diskinfo doesn't understand

sjorge: no rpi has native efi, it might affect whether u-boot is willing to load edk2 though?
