It's handled in a seperate fork for now. The fork is bootable. With the philosophy of fork yeah we are not in a hurry to merge them again.

how were the blobs handled btw?

The closed blobs? They are x86 only or Sparc only in many cases. The last one that would need some work to recreate is ipsec but otherwise you can run without blobs. And honestly most people are running without the blobs. they are just leftovers.

Yes it's possible with lx zones.

we can unpack docker containers with zadm

systemd is a PITA but anything that only uses non container ABI's works

Gameservers are traditionally so simple that they just work

Minecraft works even natural lunati and OSS games are easily compiled
