jbkjclulow: i agree, but then i run into other people and you might as well ask them to chop off an arm
-
jbki also recognize though that I may not be the best judge of what is or is not easy :) but obviously if people are that averse to mdoc, i'd just like an option that people are ok with that also produces good results
-
jbkor at least i've thought having such an option would be nice...
-
andyfmdoc(7) does link to mandoc.bsd.lv/mdoc which I found/still find useful.
-
jbkyeah.. one thing i didn't know (at the time) is that tbl works with mandoc -- there's a few converted pages that might be good to go back and add a simple table (to match what was there prior)
-
jbkuntil i saw that months (or more) later

gitomat[illumos-gate] 16726 in/out VM_EXIT should not assert on CPUs without DecodeAssist -- iximeow <illumos⊙in>
-
richloweall the roff processors people use in practice should still work
-

-
jclulowhaha
-
jclulowThat would be pretty neat
-
jclulowSomething with Mermaid might also be neat: github.com/mermaid-js/mermaid
-
jbkamusingly, the other day (before we started talking about it), I started a little project (_very_ preliminary) for a mdoc viewer in rust
-
jbksince i haven't been able to do much in a long time, and wanted to do some
-
jbkbut more so, so you could get more than regular/bold/underline text
-
jbk(e.g. colors for different types of things, header + footer while scrolling, section/TOC navigation, etc)
-
jbkdon't know if it'd be interesting to anyone but me, but seemed like a fun little project
-
richloweI feel like tef wrote something like this, but with their own not-quite-markdown. I do not know the language
-
richloweI remember it having intense tty features
