KurlonSo, it didn't like something about the old data on those drives, boot, hot plug them in, create a data pool and now it's happy to reboot with them live.

Kurlon_Playing around with my antique ssd storage box, I'm not getting the perf I'd expect from my Optane P1600Xs I have setup as SLOGs. Direct raw writes to them top out at 500 to 630MB/s.
-
Kurlon_Sync, 300MB/s.
-
Kurlon_2 strikes against them on this box, because it's Westmere generation I'm dealing with PCIe 2 instead of 3, and I haven't chased down if the slot is driven off chipset or CPU lanes yet.
-
Kurlon_Still, 'feels' off, PCIe 2 x 4 should be 2048MB/s of capacity.
-
Kurlon_I'm hitting a cap around the 600 to 700MB/s mark with the LSI 9300 as well, single SSD or mirrors/etc, best I can read off any setup is 727MB/s so, bottleneck somewhere.

alancif anyone's looking for things to fix in the illumos man pages, pastebin.com/GBdmgBYf lists some in the second half (after the info on what changed in the Solaris man pages recently)
