And what's the problem with upgrading the global zone?

OmniOS is completely different

Hopefully I'll soon have a Tribblix upgrader that will handle zones correctly, it's not logically hard, but needs testing.

Is this related to the package manager?

Does anyone have the spec sheet of Sun Netra X4200 server? I can't find it online, or the data is not the same everywhere. I'm planning on getting it from a local shop just for nostalgia.

antranigv, If you are a real sucker for punishment I'm sending 6 x4540s, a x4500, and a bunch of spare parts (including lots of drives) off to surplus as soon as they come to pick it all up. You could have them for a song (and huge shipping costs).

the 4540s are full of 1TB drives, the 4500 has .5TB, and IIRC all the spare drives are 1TB.

I think, based on my calculation, I should be able to put them in my friend's rack, the electricity will be hell tho

They're all x86. AMD IIRC.
