so apparently drives can have their own internal clock as well as a tpm20 module.. i wonder if other things might as well..

jbk: I've certainly heard of drives counting hours of operation (and several cases where the firmware crashed when it exceeded some number..) but not sure what it would use a synchronized clock for..
