Yeah if you have any of the offload stuff on I believe we make the giant buffers

this customer was having some network connectivity issues and the kstats showed that the VM had run out of tx buffers a fairly decent amount of time

I think their HV is Nutanix, so I'm guessing all the usual offloads should be there

I believe the driver does it unconditionally, so just something to be cognizant of.

hrm.. is there a way to get a signal delivered to a child when the parent dies (e.g. more or less the inverse of SIGCHLD) ?
