I remember that there was a python script that generated smf manifests, anyone remembers the name of that?

Was it manifold?

I recall that I always found manifest kind of clunky; at Joyent Mr Pacheco had written github.com/TritonDataCenter/smfgen instead

I guess there will be a smaller one to get the nfs 4.1 stuff in again soon too now that the upgrade for the version property landed

Or was that still blocked on actual working delegation for 4.1 ?

The ticket wasn't super clear on that, I can read it as a IPD is needed to outline if/when delegation comes to 4.1 and when to switch the default max or as a it can go in as is for now.
